The Legal Connection Is Headed to TAPS 2026 in San Antonio!

The Texas Advanced Paralegal Seminar (TAPS) is the premier continuing legal education (CLE) event for paralegals in Texas, and The Legal Connection is excited to announce that we'll be there with a booth in the exhibit hall. When and Where to Find Us

TAPS 2026 kicks off Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at the Westin San Antonio North, 9821 Colonnade Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas. The three-day, multi-track CLE runs September 30 through October 2 and is sponsored by the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division.

What Is TAPS?

Now in its 27th year, the Texas Advanced Paralegal Seminar brings together approximately 250 advanced-level paralegals from across the state for three days of education, networking, and professional development. This year's theme, "TAPS CLE 2026—A Lone Star Legend," features five tracks, 60-plus speakers, and up to 13 hours of CLE credit.

Attendees can look forward to:

• Multi-track CLE sessions covering personal injury trial law, family law, real estate, criminal law, business and consumer law, and more
• A keynote luncheon featuring Hon. Kirsten Cohoon of the 451st District Court in Kendall County
• A panel of Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) certified paralegals answering questions about certification
• The Wednesday Welcome Social, Thursday Networking Social, and Friday Annual Meeting Luncheon
