As Vice President of Operations at The Legal Connection, Steven keeps the firm's many moving parts working together so that the team can focus on what matters most: serving clients well.
Steven grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and headed to Austin for college at the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied Broadcast Journalism and Business. Central Texas quickly won him over, and he's called it home ever since.
His career began in healthcare, but the legal world is where he found his footing. Starting in 2008, Steven ran every corner of a production department—court reporting, videography, transcription—and learned the business from the ground up. That hands-on experience earned him a promotion to Vice President of Operations in 2019.
Today, Steven brings strategy and direction to The Legal Connection's departments while keeping things collaborative across leadership and staff. He's a firm believer that a strong, positive culture is what makes great work possible, and he works hard to keep that spirit alive in everything the firm does. Clients come first for Steven. He holds the team to a high standard of quality and brings the communication skills and attention to detail that have long defined The Legal Connection's reputation.
When he's not at work, Steven is usually on a bike—road or mountain—or cheering on his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. He and his wife are raising their two children in Central Texas.
