Holding hands in sunset

Hold your hand

A couple of months ago, I wrote you about Bob Dylan and his lyrics in “These Times, They are a Changin’”. With the Stay-at-Home orders, my husband of 30 years, Jay, and I were finally able to sit and watch the movie about the Beatles, “Yesterday”. I was reminded how much I enjoyed their music and of the song, “I Want to Hold Your Hand”. Did Paul or John ever imagine we would be told not to hold hands or even be in close proximity to anyone?

We at The Legal Connection have adapted well under the restrictions of the orders, sending most of our staff to work from home. Our initial essential team called themselves the Frantic Five. They were the ones who received calls and mail, handled the accounts receivables and payables, and processed the productions of records and transcripts. We are grateful to be part of the essential businesses and to our clients for entrusting us with their discovery requests. We adapted well to the electronic online Notaries (having become certified in 2019) and online depositions, helping our clients come along with the technologies. Our Record Retrieval team created processes that enabled them to receive records electronically and handle hundreds of calls per day.

While all of this was going on, we also moved our corporate office in April to a much larger space which has enabled our staff to appreciate social distancing. If you have not seen our new office, please check it out on our website at www.TLC-Texas.com.

We may not be able to hold your hand but we are looking forward to seeing you all soon and sharing the war stories of how we survived this international pandemic. Give us a call or send us an email. We are here for you and would love to hear you are safe and well. Thank you for your continued support! We appreciate you! Let us know if you need a little TLC!
